WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE YOUR MIXES?
Generally our mixes require eggs, butter or oil and vanilla extract depending on which mix you buy. Our muffins require one of the following; canned pumpkin, banana or applesauce to get started creating your dream muffin.

CAN I MAKE ONE MUG CAKE AT A TIME?
Our pancake batter keeps for up to 5 days in the fridge. We recommend you make the entire batch and use the prepared batter to make as many mug cakes as you want at a time.

CAN I MAKE A SINGLE SERVING OF PANCAKES/WAFFLES?
You sure can AND it increases the protein to an unbelievable 46g! We call this our SUPERCHARGED serving! Simply mix 3/4 cup dry pancake mix with 1 egg and 1/4 cup of water and cook as per usual into 3 pancakes or one large waffle.

DO I NEED TO BE AN EXPERT BAKER TO MAKE YOUR MIXES?
Definitely not. All our mixes are easy to make even for the novice cook/baker.

WHAT TYPE OF PROTEIN DO YOU USE?
We use whey protein isolate. The highest quality available from a Canadian company.

WHY WHEY ISOLATE?
Whey protein is an excellent source, especially for baking. It dissolves well and doesn’t impact the texture. Many people that don’t eat dairy due to a lactose intolerance may still digest whey isolate because all but 1% of lactose is removed. ARE ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN/VEGETARIAN?
No. We haven’t found a plant based protein powder we are happy using and eliminating the eggs and butter would completely change our products which we've worked hard to keep as close to grandma's classic baking as we could.

ARE ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS DAIRY FREE?
While ALL of our products contain whey, we use an isolate powder which has removed all by 1% of the lactose. Many lactose intolerent people don't notice this small amount. We do however require butter in our cookies and brownies.

WHAT ALLERGENS SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT?
All of our products contain almonds or traces of almonds. All of our products contain whey (a milk ingredient), however they only contain 1% lactose. While none of our products contain gluten, they are not packaged in a dedicated gluten free or nut free facility.

ARE YOUR MIXES SAFE FOR THOSE WITH CELIAC DISEASE?
We cannot guarantee our mixes haven’t come in contact with gluten and advise consumption at your discretion. However we take great care when packaging our products and no gluten products are in use when packaging our mixes.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
Our products are available in Canada and the continental USA.

HOW LONG DOES MY DELIVERY TAKE?
All local orders are delivered on Monday and Thursday afternoon. Outside of Calgary but within Canada are shipped within 1 working day and typically arrive in 2-3 days.
All locations within the USA are shipped priority within 1 working day and typically arrive in 2 days.

WHAT'S THE SHELF LIFE OF THE BAKING MIXES?
6 months is our fresh by date. You will find a date stamped on the side of each bag which indicates the date it was packaged. Shown as Year/Month/Day/Run #
