What do I need to make pancakes?
- For the pancakes you will need just eggs and water. For waffles you will need to add a bit of oil.
Do I need to use eggs?
- No, you can just use water, but we highly suggest adding eggs if you want the fluffiest pancakes.
Can I make a full pouch for 12 pancakes?
- yes, use the entire mix and add 2 eggs and 1 1/2 cups of water.
Why is there a sodium symbol on the package?
- While this recipe contains only 1 gram of added salt in the entire bag (about 12 pancakes), collagen naturally contains sodium which is whats triggers the sodium symbol on the front of the package under Canadian labelling regulations. It's simply a reflection of the ingredients used, not because we've heavily salted the mix.
Is the batter supposed to be thick?
- Yes, our pancake mix makes a thick batter for thick fluffy pancakes. Feel free to adjust the water for your desired consistency.
Are the colours in the sprinkles used safe?
- Yes. we now use all natural sprinkles. No artificial colours

Truthfully , I love everything Hello Amino. From the protein lattes to the baking mixes! But this is for the Birthday Cake pancakes! You will not be disappointed! They are sweet but not too sweet, fluffy yummy goodness. Not gritty, no weird aftertaste. Just deliciousness!!

Taste good! I make them in single serve for breakfast which is perfect. Liked trying this flavour to switch it up , and I love that the pancake mixes have so much protein. The maple ones will still be my go to for pancakes
Thankfully I was scrolling instagram at the right time to score a couple bags of the much talked about birthday cake pancake mix with plans to make it for my spring babies on their special days.
They were simple to make (whipped them up before I left for work) and a hit with the kids. As a busy working mom of 3, I dont often have time to whip up a full nutritious breaky daily, but giving them a protein packed sweet treat bday surprise before school filled my mom bucket! 5⭐️
These pancakes weren't as good as others i tried. I realized after I bought them that the sprinkles probably had dyes in them that weren't safe, which is the only reason I'm giving them a 3 star rating. They tasted like any other pancake but I'm happy for the protein
Hi Michelle, I’m so sorry to hear the Birthday Cake mix didn’t meet your expectations. I want to assure you that all the dyes used in our sprinkles are 100% safe and fully approved by the Canadian government. The red dye in our mix is not the one recently pulled in the U.S.

The birthday mix is amazing, my whole family loves it and it is a great protein boost in the morning for everyone. The only fault…I can’t get it year round. Please can this be a regular mix?
