What started as a global protein shortage quickly became the most expensive transition we've ever faced as a business.

We've spent months reformulating products, replacing packaging, sourcing new ingredients, and continuing work on our new facility, all while navigating rising costs and ongoing uncertainty.

The good news is we're making real progress.

Our pancake mixes have been successfully reformulated and are heading to print. Our puddings are complete. Our cookies are currently being redeveloped. For the first time in a long time, we're beginning to see a path forward.

The challenge is the cost of getting from here to there.

Why are you raising funds?

Over the past year, HelloAmino has faced a combination of unexpected challenges, including a global protein shortage, reformulation costs, packaging write-offs, and a facility build that exceeded our original budget. While we're excited about the future, these challenges have made this one of the most expensive transitions in our history. The Founding Member Program helps us bridge that gap while continuing to move forward.

Do I need to live in Calgary?

No. While some benefits are local, many members will be supporting us from across Canada.

How does the discount work?

Eligible memberships receive a unique discount code that can be used during the stated benefit period.

When do benefits begin?

Some benefits begin immediately, while others will be delivered as they become available.

For example, Founding Member recognition, discount codes, and insider communications begin shortly after purchase. Benefits tied to future product releases, the Protein Sip Bar, and facility events will be delivered once those experiences become available.

Specific timelines for each benefit will be communicated directly to members throughout the rebuild.

How will my name appear on the wall?

You'll have the opportunity to submit the name you'd like displayed. We reserve the right to decline inappropriate submissions.

What is the Founding 50 Signature Feature Vote?

Each year, Founding 50 members will vote on a future feature drink, limited edition, or product concept that will become the official Founding 50 Feature.

How does the free monthly drink work?
