Strawberry Iced Matcha (That Beats Starbucks in Every Way)
Share
We love a good drive-thru moment, but when your go-to iced matcha starts racking up the sugar, carbs, and costs… it’s time for an upgrade.
This Strawberry Iced Matcha gives you the creamy, fruity flavour you’re craving — with more protein, less than half the carbs, and a price tag that won’t make you flinch.
Better yet? It’s made with our smooth, vanilla-finished matcha that even matcha skeptics love. No grassy aftertaste. No weird bitterness. Just that fresh, springtime energy — with a frothy protein boost that actually keeps you full.
Here's how to make it:
1 cup skim high protein milk
3 tbsp HelloAmino Matcha Latte Mix
Ice
4 strawberries, diced
2 tbsp strawberry syrup (recipe below)
Optional Strawberry Syrup
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced
2 tbsp coconut sugar (or any preferred sugar)
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
Add the milk and Matcha to a 4 cup measuring cup. Whisk well or use a milk frother until fully dissolved.
To make syrup; add the first 4 ingredients to a small pot. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low and simmer 15 minutes. Strain and pour into a small mason jar.
Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Fill a large glass with ice and chopped strawberries. Add syrup if desired and then pour over prepared Matcha.

Pro Tip: replace 1/2 cup of milk with 1/2 cup of raw egg whites to increase the protein to 42g! (use egg whites from the container for safe consumption)
