The Recipe
Serves 2 (if you’re willing to share)
For the dough:
¾ cup HelloAmino Cinnamon Pancake Mix
1/8 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp baking powder
½ cup plain Greek yogurt (2%)
For the cinnamon sugar coating:
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
Optional (but worth it):
8g chopped pecans
For the glaze:
2 tsp softened cream cheese
½ tsp Greek yogurt
1 tsp milk of choice
1 tbsp HelloAmino Icing Mix
Instructions
In a bowl, combine pancake mix, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix in the yogurt just until combined — the dough will be sticky.
Using your hands, roll into 3 medium to large balls. Coat each in cinnamon sugar.
Grease the bottom of a small oven-safe dish with butter and add chopped pecans (optional). Layer the dough balls on top.
Air fryer method:
Bake at 315°F for 17 minutes. Cover with foil for the last 2–3 minutes to prevent over-browning.
Oven method:
Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
While it bakes, mix together glaze ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over warm monkey bread and dig in — preferably with your fingers.
