Carrot Cake Banana Bread

Carrot Cake Banana Bread is the best of both worlds!

These are two of my favorite treats and together they are a marriage made in heaven. 

Makes 1 loaf

1 bag prepared HelloAmino Banana Bread Mix
1 cup grated carrots
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (plus more for garnish)


4 tbsp cream cheese (can use dairy free)
2 tbsp plain yogurt or sour cream (can use dairy free)
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup (or to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350

Prepare your HelloAmino banana bread mix according to the package instructions. Fold in the grated carrots, cinnamon, nutmeg and nuts until completely combined.

Bake as per the instructions on the pouch. Meanwhile prepare icing by blending together all ingredients until smooth.

Once your banana bread has FULLY cooled spread the icing over the top and garnish with more chopped nuts.

Store in a sealed container in the fridge or freeze after 4 days (if not finished!).
