Oreo Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

The perfect cookie DOES exist!
I'm really digging making our cookies into bars these days. It's simple, offers more protein per bar, and I love the thicker texture.
Plus the mix in options are endless.
I paired up Oreos with caramel and it took our chocolate chip cookie to the next level. Bake these up for the upcoming July long weekend and you will not be disappointed.
Here's how
1 package prepared HelloAmino Chocolate Chip Cookie dough
5 Oreos (gluten free if needed), chopped into quarters
5 soft caramels (I used Werther's), chopped into thirds
Preheat oven to 350
Fold in the chopped Oreos to the dough. Spread into a parchment lined 9x9 cake pan and then top with chopped soft caramels.
Bake for 20-22 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Cut into 9 pieces and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent dessert. Or freeze for later, they are delish from frozen!

Would this recipe work if I bake it, then freeze for next weekend? Going to a friend’s cabin ant want to take some good treats but pre-prep is needed.
